Unboxing Your Ledger Wallet® 🎁

Inside your Ledger package, you should find:

The Ledger device (Nano S Plus, Nano X, or Stax)
A USB-C cable for connection
Three recovery sheets to safely record your recovery phrase

Step 1: Download Ledger Live App 💻

Ledger Live is the official software companion for your Ledger device. It lets you manage your portfolio, install apps, and make transactions securely.

Download the app for your computer or mobile device
Install and launch the Ledger Live application

Ledger Live communicates directly with your device and never stores your private keys online, ensuring your crypto stays safe.

Step 2: Initialize Your Device 🔧

Power on your Ledger and connect it to your computer or smartphone. Follow the on-screen prompts to:

Select “Set up as new device” or “Restore from recovery phrase”
Create a unique PIN (4-8 digits) using your Ledger buttons
Write down your 24-word recovery phrase exactly as shown — this is your ultimate backup

Important: Your recovery phrase is the master key to your crypto funds. Keep it offline, never share it, and never store it digitally.

📝 Use the supplied recovery sheets to write your phrase. Store them securely in different physical locations, preferably fire- and waterproof safes.

Step 3: Installing Cryptocurrency Apps & Accounts 🛠️

Ledger supports multiple cryptocurrencies via dedicated apps. Here’s how to add them:

Open Ledger Live and go to the “Manager” tab
Install apps for the cryptocurrencies you want to use
Add accounts under the “Accounts” tab for each currency
